This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

$42 - Could provide a jaundiced baby with access to a phototherapy light for 3.5 weeks. Jaundice is very common in premature babies and if left untreated can cause brain damage

$60 - Could provide a technologically advanced humidicrib for a sick or premature baby for 5 days. These humidicribs have been described as ‘the next best thing to the womb’

$187 - Could provide a life-saving resuscitation cot for 23 babies born in distress and needing assistance to breathe.

Alex!! You're amazing. What a wonderful cause, and so, so needed for our amazing babies and families. Rowan was a 36 weeker, but we were fortunate enough not to need any special care nursery for her. I can only imagine how scary and overwhelming it is for those families who do need that extra support and medical know how.
