This November I’m taking on The Premmie Marathon Challenge:
Having a preemie is not something you ever imagine - until it happens. The weeks before Vivian arrived were a whirlwind of hope, uncertainty , and waiting. I spent 9 weeks on special precautions and nearly 3 weeks in hospital, watching and waiting, never knowing exactly when she would arrive or what condition she’d be in.
The neonatal team was ready, just in case, but thankfully our little fighter arrived at 35 weeks, healthy and strong.
This November, I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge. Every kilometre I complete will raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment, helping families like ours and giving premature babies the best chance to thrive.
