Our story

Our beautiful twin babies made their early arrival at the beginning of September, six weeks before their due date.

They entered the world tiny but fierce, spending their first days in the NICU surrounded by the gentle hum of machines and the incredible care of the medical team. Soon after, they were transferred to a second hospital, where they continued to grow stronger. Their journey started at the NICU then to Special Care, and finally, after what felt like both the longest and shortest weeks of our lives, they were ready to come home.

Watching their journey from humidicribs to open-air cots was nothing short of a miracle. Every feed, every tiny milestone, every moment of progress filled us with hope and gratitude. The staff and facilities at both hospitals were extraordinary — their support, expertise, and kindness gave our babies the best possible start to life.

Now, seeing them thriving at home with us feels like a dream come true. We’ll forever be thankful for the care that helped bring our little fighters safely into the world and into our arms. ?

This November, I’ll be clocking up my kilometres in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment — giving critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

This cause means the world to me. Our twin girls were born premature just two months ago, and thanks to the incredible care and facilities that supported them, they’re now thriving. ??????
