Our fighting hero Christopher

Our first born was due to be born in March 2022! 
Instead we were blessed with his arrival a little early at 27 weeks & our little fighter began his life needing some extra support with his first 75days in nicu/scbu. 
With these lifesaving equipment and the superheroes (his medical team) we were able to bring him home and continue his growth and development journey at home. 
Whilst it has been a roller coaster journey, Christopher is about to embark on this next chapter of preschool in 2026! 
We walk, run, swim to help others who have been touched by a beautiful little premmie in their lives. 
A tough time for families, but without the love and support of foundations and those willing to raise money for these special babies things like life saving equipment may be harder to reach. 
We as a family want to give back to all that gave to us in a time of unexpentancy and need.

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

$42 - Could provide a jaundiced baby with access to a phototherapy light for 3.5 weeks. Jaundice is very common in premature babies and if left untreated can cause brain damage
