Premmie Marathon Challenge 2025

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

This premmie challenge is so close to my heart. Our little Oliver was born 4 weeks early and came out not breathing. The nurses gave him CPR for 4 minutes then he was rushed to NICU. He was well looked after by the nurses and doctors and improved in health everyday. We were so lucky to be able to take our baby home after being in NICU just over a week. We are so fortunate that besides being a bit little, he has passed all of his extra hospital appts he had to have till he was 3 years old (Brain scan, multiple hearing tests, physio appts, paediatrician appts and speech therapy).

He’s now 5 years old and such a happy little boy and we are forever grateful for those wonderful nurses who saved his life (Karen and Jane).

We also met other parents in the NICU that their babies had been in there for weeks and there was still no end in sight for them.

So I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

I'd love your support - if you can, please make a generous tax-deductible donation here.

Thank you for your support.
Your donation will help keep me motivated as I complete my challenge through November, knowing that each km I complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
