My Why

This November, I’m running 100km for the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise awareness and funds for premature babies and their families.

I’ve joined Team August’s Rush in support of our friends and their little boy August, who was born prematurely and showed incredible strength from day one.

Our own son, Parker, was born four weeks early. We were so fortunate that he didn’t need much support, but that experience opened my eyes to how quickly things can change — and how many families rely on the incredible care and resources provided to premature babies.

I’m running not only for August, but for all the tiny fighters and the families who have faced the uncertainty of premature birth. Every step, every kilometre, is for them ?

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
