Molly ??

On the 3/4/2021, I went to the hospital for a weekly check up. I had blood pressure concerns previously and was put on blood pressure medication. Molly was measuring small so they wanted to keep an eye on her growing. At this point I was 33 weeks pregnant. I was already having a rough pregnancy, having developed a panic disorder and became agoraphobic. On this day everything seemed normal and felt fine, nothing out of the ordinary. I had my ultrasound and went back upstairs for my next blood pressure check. This turned into the scariest moment of my life…. I was having a hypertensive crisis. My reading was 200/100. Before I knew it, a code was called and nurses were rushed to me pumping me full of meds. They took me to the ICU where they performed an intravenous blood pressure check. I was too overwhelmed to realise what was happening. I felt sick and scared. The next day I was transferred to Nepean hospital and that evening Molly arrived into the world via csection. Spending four weeks in total in NICU. A tough cookie who smashed all her goals and is still smashing them.

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

I'd love your support - if you can, please make a generous tax-deductible donation here.

Thank you for your support.
Your donation will help keep me motivated as I complete my challenge through November, knowing that each km I complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.

Fancy joining me? You can sign up for the Premmie Marathon Challenge too! Simply choose your challenge distance and start clocking your kms for premmie babies.
