This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
As a first time mum as well as a mum of a beautiful baby girl Asha, she was born premmie at 35 weeks, born at a tiny little 1.8kg, we were in hospital for just over a month before i was able to bring her home. Living in Alice Springs, we are so incredibly grateful that we have the amazing Neonatal and Maternity teams to help us through the unexpected, premmie babes are so much more common and not all hospitals have the resources needed.
