Run Run Run!
So on Sunday, the time finally came for the Orange Running Festival! My 10km race has now been run and won (but not by me!). I completed my 10km in 1:01:14 which wasn’t record breaking by any means but I’m happy with it, especially given that I had knee troubles. I’m very happy with the result.
More importantly, just before the race, we cracked $3000! As a whole, the community has raised over $27,000! For only 11 fundraisers, that's an incredible amount!
People can still donate for the next few weeks but I wanted to send a massive thank you for everyone who has donated. It's been mind blowing how much support I've received and the amount of donations I've received is so much more than I ever expected. So thank you, and if you ever feel like doing a run yourself, make sure you check if Running For Premature Babies are running a fundraiser. It' be great to get more runners in on it!

So I really thought that I'd reached a limit with our donations. But boy, was I wrong! After a bit of sharing, you've blown it out of the water! We've smashed right past my $2000 goal and we've now got over $2500! When I started this, I didn't expect to get more than $250 so to get 10x more than that is mind boggling. Thank you all so much. It truly means so much to us.We've made $1000

Did you know that 26,000 babies are born prematurely in Australia each year, and many hospitals are in need of upgraded neonatal equipment to save their lives?
I’m running to raise funds to support the wonderful work of Running for Premature Babies in giving these premature babies a better chance of survival, and I’d really love your support.
This charity was founded in memory of baby triplets, Henry, Jasper & Evan Smith, who were unable to overcome their prematurity when they were born in 2006. Since then over $9 million has been raised, providing 150 pieces of life-saving equipment that has directly benefitted over 10,000 babies.
Your donation will help keep me motivated, knowing that my race is about so much more than my finishing time.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will make a tangible difference to the lives of so many tiny babies.
