RFPB Virtual Run - have fun, get active during the COVID self-isolation period and give premature babies a better chance of survival.
Run anytime, anywhere, laps of your house, on a treadmill, at the local park or around your suburb between 17 and 24th May. We are encouraging everyone to have fun, get active during the COVID19 self-isolation period and achieve a fitness goal.
You can run any of the following distances: 2km, 5km, 10km, 21km.
There is no registration fee and fundraising is optional.
If you can raise or donate $100 or more you will receive a free running singlet and cap. All participants will receive a finisher’s certificate!
We also have three randomly drawn lucky finisher prizes! All runners who send us a record of their run (e.g. your watch face, treadmill screen, Strava or MapMyRun route) will go in the draw to win a pair of limited edition Running for Premature Babies branded Steigen running socks!
Running for Premature Babies is a charity dedicated to giving premature babies a better chance of survival. Our virtual run is aiming to raise $130,000 to fund critical neonatal research at the Royal Hospital for Women.
