This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

This November, I’m taking part in the Premmie Marathon Challenge. I will be walking and running throughout the month to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment.

I’ve seen firsthand how important this cause is. My daughter faced unimaginable heartbreak loosing her first two babies, Baby O and Xavier, at just 24 and 28 weeks. Her third, our beautiful miracle boy, Theodore, was born at 24 weeks weighing only 311 grams. He fought so bravely for 12 incredible weeks, showing us what true strength and courage looks like, before he peacefully joined his big brothers.

Every step I take in November is in memory of Theodore, Xavier and Baby O — and for all the tiny warriors and families walking this difficult path. I want to get behind them every step of the way - both figuratively and literally.

Every step I take is for our family and all other families holding onto hope and for all the tiny warriors like Theodore who remind us what real courage looks like.
