Morning what a day to be a Premmie
This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
As a neonatal nurse, I’ve cared for countless tiny fighters. This year, it became deeply personal — my precious nephew Theodore was born on 6 June weighing just 311 grams.
To honour him, and every premmie and critically ill newborn, our family has created Team Theodore.
Through November, I’ll be clocking up my kilometres in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise money for NICU and Special Care nurses across Australia — funding life-saving equipment and giving these little ones the best chance at survival.
? Our Goal: $3,110 — a number that honours Theo’s birth weight of 311 g, with one extra zero to help give premmie babies a bigger chance at life.
? How you can help:
? Donate here:-@runningforprematurebabies.com
every donation is tax-deductible and will keep me motivated with every km I complete.
? Or join me! Pick your distance, sign up for the Premmie Marathon Challenge, and help change the story for premature babies.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting a cause so close to our family. ?
