Help us give premature babies a better chance of survival

With your support, we'll be raising funds to buy life-saving equipment and fund groundbreaking research that give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

My son was a premmie baby and every day I am thankful for the amazing people in Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital's NICU and Special Care teams who cared for my son.

He is a healthy and strong teenager now. It's hard to believe he was so small and fragile.

My Updates

End of week 1 - 13th November 2021 - Total 32.1 kms

It's been a busy week but I have managed to walk 6 of the 7 days.

I am pleased with the combined total of 32.1 km, only 67.9 to go!

Walking shoes are back on tomorrow...

Day 3 - 8th November

Today was a 5.2km walk through the forest, in between showers.
A quiet walk today, with the sound of the birds keeping us company.

Day 2

We decided to walk our 5km today along Coolum Beach. It is a dog-friendly beach, so we took both George and Bertie. A beautiful day, a beautiful walk for such an important cause.
Today we walked 6.6km

Day 1 - 6th November 2021

Walked 5.3 km through the forest today. A good start.
My plan is to walk 5 km every day to achieve my goal of walking 100km by the end of November.
I was accompanied by my beautiful little dog, George. He is committed to walking with me, every step!
Walking through the forest is like a meditation. A meditation on how grateful I am for my son.
